💫Finding the remnants of forgotten villages on my explorations into the Hajar mountains in Oman and the UAE started to uncover the past and  inspired me to create the evocative Deserted Village series of paintings.

🎨Within these landscapes, I am always in awe of the beauty I find in the desolation.  On my travels  I was captivated by the interplay of light I could see on ancient ruins, and the patterns, colours and textures in the decaying walls. It was here I could imagine the past gracefully intertwining with the present in a mesmerizing dance.
