The sand blows in, is a mesmerizing Limited-Edition print of a mixed-media painting inspired by the abandoned villages found on the mountainsides of Oman. In this artwork, you can see the buildings still standing strong with their outer walls fully intact. The tops of three mosques covered in shimmering gold leaf, resemble dancers with outstretched arms, welcoming the viewer into the scene. Amongst the empty buildings, there are palm trees and other vegetation, a reminder of nature’s presence amidst the deserted surroundings. The sand blows in, invites you to imagine the beauty of these forgotten villages and how nature continues to thrive alongside them.
